ISO-TOP WINFRAMER „TYPE 1” PASSES RC3 TEST

Our IN FRONT OF WALL INSTALLATION SYSTEM ISO-TOP WINFRAMER „TYPE 1” underwent break-in testing at ift Rosenheim. It passed with flying colours.

In the class RC 3 mechanical break-in test, two attempts were made to create an opening that would allow passage between the frame and casement. Despite the extensive range of tools available to the tester in this high resistance to forced entry class, it was impossible to get through. Not even long screwdrivers and a “Swedish steel” combined with the use of multiple wedges were able to touch the IN FRONT OF WALL INSTALLATION SYSTEM ISO-TOP WINFRAMER „TYPE 1”.

Passing the RC 3 test demonstrates that there are no weak spots at all within the overall construction and that use of the  IN FRONT OF WALL INSTALLATION SYSTEM ISO-TOP WINFRAMER „TYPE 1” is guaranteed to resist forced entry. Successful completion of the RC3 test also means that windows from resistance classes RC 3 and RC 2 can be installed in front of the wall. The test applies to the three ISO-TOP WINFRAMER SYSTEM ANGLE dimensions 80 / 80, 140 / 90 and 160 / 110.
