RAL QUALITY MARK AWARDED 4 TIMES FOR IN FRONT OF WALL INSTALLATION AND JOINT SEALING SYSTEMS FROM ISO-CHEMIE

Reliably high product quality

To receive the RAL quality mark, the products needed to fulfil the quality and testing requirements of the RAL Gütegemeinschaft Gebäudeabdichtungssysteme e.V., the quality assurance criteria of which exceed the technical requirements of DIN standards. Special requirements were placed on the seal characteristics, fire protection, hygiene, health and environmental protection, plus reliability in use and durability.

Designers, installers and building owners can rely on the quality of products that have been awarded the RAL quality mark. To be able to guarantee compliance with the quality and testing requirements, regular production checks are carried out in-house and there is external monitoring by a neutral testing laboratory.

With the RAL quality mark, ISO-Chemie’s innovative ISO-TOP WINFRAMER “TYPE 3” IN FRONT OF WALL INSTALLATION SYSTEM has received another important award. This Passivhaus-certified, ift tested and IMA tested in front of wall installation system offers especially high load-bearing capacity and thermal insulation. The very high material density (150 kg/m³) and excellent properties in terms of supported load and thermal insulation make the system perfect for installing windows in front of the wall in both single and multiple occupancy buildings and in commercial construction. It can also be used for fire protection applications up to building class 5. The unique feature is that, in large window elements with extremely high loading requirements, the system profiles can be reinforced with aluminium and stainless steel angles as required to provide additional stabilisation.

As an RC2 and RC3 tested in front of wall installation system, ISO-TOP WINFRAMER “TYPE 3” has also demonstrated its suitability for installation in intrusion-resistant windows in front of the wall.

Quality-assured window sealing with ISO-Chemie multi-functional tapes

There are now three multi-functional tapes for RAL quality-assured window sealing available from the ISO-Chemie product portfolio with the RAL system quality mark. The multi-functional 3-layer tapes impressed with their outstanding sealing performance and the ability, as a product system, to incorporate the complete 3-layer seal in a single work step.

One special highlight is the ISO-BLOCO HYBRATEC multi-functional tape developed with ISO-Chemie’s innovative hybrid technology. ISO-BLOCO HYBRATEC combines the quality features of premium facade and window connection foils with the benefits of MF1-certified multi-functional joint sealing tapes. This innovative hybrid technology combines the excellent impermeability to air and resistance to driving rain of foils with the considerable expansion force and significant long-term capacity to absorb movements of pre-compressed PUR flexible foam. The tape consists of a pre-compressed, impregnated PUR flexible foam and is self-adhesive on one side. This meets the material requirements for RAL multi-functional tapes. The all-in-one tape also offers strong expansion capacity, and thus a high level of functional reliability. A wide range of different window connection joints can be reliably sealed with it.

The two classics – ISO-BLOCO ONE and ISO-BLOCO MULTI-FUNCTIONAL TAPE – were also awarded the coveted quality mark for their outstanding product quality.

Very low-emission

All four award-winning products stood out in terms of healthy living environment since they do not give off any hazardous substances into the room air. The products had already been awarded the EMICODE^® EC1 PLUS rating “very low-emission” from the Gemeinschaft Emissionskontrollierte Verlegewerkstoffe, Klebstoffe und Bauprodukte e.V. (GEV) [Alliance for emission-controlled installation products, adhesives and construction products].

Many of the energy-efficient building sealing product solutions from ISO-Chemie have already been awarded the RAL quality mark.
